Kathryn Verner

Kathryn Verner is a State of Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, providing care for adults, couples, children and teens. She specializes in individual and couples counseling, marriage and family therapy, parenting and relationship issues, anxiety and stress. Ms. Verner helps identify unwanted patterns of behavior and barriers to living a peaceful and fulfilling life. She offers innovative techniques and guidance to help people find ways to enhance quality of life, improve coping abilities, and experience a deeper connection with themselves and others. Ms. Verner provides a compassionate and encouraging environment that is calm, safe and relaxing to allow clients to explore challenging issues. She believes all individuals have the potential to achieve awareness and insight, and the ability to change life circumstances and relationships for a better life.

Tara Frey, LMHC,CATP Licensed Mental Health Counselor Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional

Dena Martin, LMHC, MS

Tara Frey received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She works with diverse adult populations, adolescents, and children, providing individual, family and group therapy.  Ms. Frey blends a solution focused and cognitive behavioral approach to help her client's overcome unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, to achieve personal goals.  Tara employs active listening techniques from a client-centered approach with all clients, and with younger clients, she will incorporate art, play and mindfulness techniques.

Tara is passionate about helping adolescents through their constantly changing developmental stages.Tara believes that engaging adolescents in therapy with creative and dynamic activities is essential to success. Adolescents are encouraged to build on their own strengths to improve functioning and feelings of self worth.

During her education she worked with children displaying symptoms consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and participated in research involving early childhood development, and parenting strategies, published in the Journal of Early Education and Development. She has also worked with 211 (Community Helpline and Crisis Hotline), and the National Suicide Hotline.

Katy Bosso, LMHC, Ph.D. Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Katy Bosso received her doctorate in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University, focusing on research in mindfulness meditation and mind-body wellbeing. She enjoys working with children, families, and adults, using cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and transpersonal approaches that are tailored to the client's uniqueness and goals. Katy enjoys assisting clients with many presenting concerns, such as lessening anxiety, depression, and stress, improving healthy relationships, and helping clients connect with their authentic, truest selves.

Katy believes that children and teens learn, express emotions, and communicate differently, and that effective therapy should complement and reflect these developmental stages in order to provide lasting results.

Dena Martin, LMHC

Dena Martin, LMHC, MS

Dena Martin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that specializes in children, teens, and individuals. She received her Master's Degree in School Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University in New York.

Dena has been working in school and private settings since 2008. Her goal is to help people overcome their anxieties, fears, and negative thoughts by combining cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies. Dena also uses elements of other forms of therapy that blend mindfulness, body awareness and teaches coping skills to be utilized outside of therapy.

When working with younger children, Dena uses various forms of play therapy that can be very beneficial in helping children recognize and discover healthy ways to cope with their feelings.

Dena is passionate about helping individuals of all ages reach their goals and improve their self-image.
